Everything you put into Evermet stays on your phone. We have no servers, no accounts and no analytics, and we cannot see your contacts, photos, keywords or notes.
The people you add, their names, places, company details, keywords, notes and photos, are saved only on your device, in the app's own storage. Photos you take or choose are copied into that storage; the app only touches photos you explicitly pick, never your whole library. Deleting the app deletes all of this data.
When Evermet offers to read the text on a card photo, the reading happens entirely on your phone using Apple's built-in text recognition. The photo and the recognised text never leave the device.
If you use Back up to iCloud, your people and photos are copied into your own iCloud storage, protected by your Apple account. The copy travels from your phone to Apple's iCloud directly; we never receive, see or hold it. Apple's iCloud terms apply to that storage. Restoring brings the backup down to whichever phone is signed into the same Apple account.
Evermet Pro purchases are processed by Apple. We use RevenueCat to check whether a purchase is active; this involves an anonymous device identifier and receipt data, never your name, email or contacts. Payment details are handled by Apple and never reach us.
Settings has Export my data (a CSV or full backup file you can keep anywhere) and Delete everything, which wipes all people, photos and settings from the phone.
